Submittal for Indexing Services (SIS) - For Web Translations Only

SIS is a web-marketing feature that we provide to our customers. After translating your web site, you definitely need to advertise and tell your new international market that you now address them in their language.

For your website to attact visitors, you need to be listed on major search engines and their local variants.  Google has local versions for dozens of countries, but in many places Google isn't the only game in town. In South America, there are more than 50 prominent local search engines. For your website to work, you need to get listed quickly and in many places.

Our SIS service sends your new web site to all major search engines (Google, MSN, Yahoo in the country and language of your choice) and to the specialized search engines in your target market. All search engines take several weeks to find and index your site.  Our SIS service accelerates this process.

What is Indexing?
In simple terms: it means getting listed, just as in any telephone directory. We all know the consequences of not being listed in the yellow or white pages—lost business opportunity.

Every search engine sends out "spiders" to crawl through your site and make an index of all the words that appear on it.  These indexes then form the basis of word searches that your customers can use to find you.

The first step is an accurate translation of your web site, using the correct terminology to describe your products and services. Getting indexed quickly through our SIS service is also an important second step. Your web site is unlikely to be seen unless people can find it.
